In 2018, Global Rope Access was awarded a roof rehabilitation project at Canada Place in Vancouver, BC. Canada Place, located in Vancouver’s Coal Harbour is the greeting place for the 230 international cruise ships and approximately one million cruise visitors each year. GRA technicians coated and refinished the large diameter roof ridge cable system used to secure the massive PTFE tensile fabric roof ‘sails’ which are iconic to the Vancouver skyline.
